Description: Ignition switch for AYP / Husqvarna, Cub Cadet, John Deere, Murray and MTD applications. Snap in mounted, (4) position, (7) terminal. This ignition switch can also be used to replace the switch (MTD# 725-04230B / 925-04230B) found in the R.M.C. “reverse module control” found on many MTD riders.

The module that is used to allow the mower to back up without disengaging the mower deck.

Switch plays an important role because it allows user to easily start the mower using only a turn key. Because switches have mechanical internal parts, over time they will begin to fail requiring replacement. It has a plastic body and it is sold individually. Please note, the key is not included, it is sold separately.

To replace this switch no tools will be needed.

• Unplug the wires from an old switch
• Remove the switch by squeezing tabs
• Secure new switch in the opening
• Reattach wires and test the new switch
